Friends of HELP Candy Mashmoor and The Bockhorster Weg School Donate to Nanthomba Primary School

HELP has received school supplies donations such as writing utensils, notebooks, chalkboards, and other educational tools which benefit Malawi children’s learning experiences. A few months ago, HELP supporter and humanitarian Candy Mashmoor donated 1,700 chalkboards to the students at Nanthomba Primary School. Candy credits the Juang Foundation, founded by her dear friend Stan, as the inspiration for her kind act. The Juang Foundation, which was created to help local schools in Taiwan, shares HELP’s mission of providing less fortunate children with a proper education.

Bockhorster Weg School of Germany has also made a very generous donation to HELP which has been used to buy fabric to make school uniforms for the children at Nanthomba Primary School. Made by local tailors in Malawi, these uniforms represent much more than simply something the children can wear to school each day. They have created a sense of pride among the students, granting them the opportunity to have a better learning environment. A ceremony was held in honor of the Bockhorster Weg School as a thank you for their contribution. The impact that their generosity has had on the children is tremendous to say the least. Many of the children were unable to attend school due to lack of clothes. Now, thanks to Bockhorster, that has all changed.
