HELP Representatives Meet with the Ambassador of Malawi
This past week Jillian and I (Yoav Hami) had the pleasure of meeting the Ambassador of Malawi, Hawa O Ndilowe. It was so great for our cause and such a great experience in itself. We had the opportunity to have lunch with her and then sit and go over all of what HELP is doing and what projects we have accomplished. Right away we felt a connection with her and had a feeling she felt the same way. I only say this because by the end of our time together she was holding Jillian’s hand while taking pictures with us and then holding mine while were saying our goodbyes….she is truly a sweet and amazing woman.
She commended us on all of our hard work and wished that she could meet everybody involved with HELP. I think this is because we couldn’t say enough about how lucky we are to have such a hard working, dedicated and caring staff. She was very impressed with the fact that we are trying to empower the people of Malawi with education, trades and programs to better themselves for not only today… but for the future as well. She is very excited to be able to help us in the future in any way that she can and that’s amazing for us! I can’t wait to see what other great things the future holds for HELP but this is definitely an experience that will be hard to top! -Yoav Hami
