Fashion Brand Max Azria Designs Custom T-Shirt to Benefit the HELP Malawi Organization
50% of T-shirt profits go directly to the HELP Malawi foundation
LOS ANGELES, CA and PEPPER PIKE, OH – November XX, 2007 – Global fashion house Max Azria has designed a new T-shirt in honor of its charity partner, HELP (Hope, Educate, Love, Protect) Malawi, a non-profit organization founded to raise funds and drive awareness for the children of Malawi, many of which are orphans and are living with HIV/AIDS.
The all-cotton T-shirt showcases the HELP Malawi icon, a lion. The lion is a symbol of strength and signifies the courage that the children in Malawi demonstrate when faced with a life of poverty and illness.
“HELP Malawi was started to make a difference – to give the children of Malawi hope, education, love, protection, and a chance to make their aspirations and dreams become a reality and we’re thrilled to work with such an established and forward-thinking brand such as Max Azria,” said Jillian Wolstein, HELP Malawi founder.
The relationship between Max Azria and HELP Malawi began in April 2007 when Creative Director Lubov Azria co-hosted the foundation’s debut event with Hollywood’s Mena Suvari at the Max Azria Los Angeles boutique. Since that time, this popular boutique has been selling the Panthera Collection, of which 100% profits of its handmade rings, necklaces, bracelets and cuff links, go to the foundation.
“It is an honor to help an organization such as HELP Malawi and we look forward to aiding Jillian with her cause through the sale of these Ts,” said Lubov Azria.
