Community Collaboration
At HELP we take the maxim “It takes a village to raise a child” literally. That is why we actively engage community leaders in goal-setting and decision-making. Stakeholders include the Parent-Teacher Association, The School Management Committee, local religious committees, and all levels of government ranging from local Chiefs to the Ministry Officials. When all the stakeholders are informed and involved, the community gains ownership of the project and a vested interest in its long-term success.
Our team is dedicated to designing community programs that empower those in need. We establish plans that provide the necessary tools to succeed, as well as life lessons for creating a happier, healthier life.
HELP is constantly evolving, adding new projects and goals that will ensure a better quality of life, not only for the children but everyone in the village. Future projects include: building and running the secondary school, creating a solar paneling system to be environmentally efficient, securing a long-term teacher volunteer program, and continuing to strengthen the music and arts programs.
