Magazine Beads

Teachers and students at Nanthomba use their time after school to create beads using recycled magazines. The beads are then used to create necklaces and wrap bracelets that are sold at a fair price to HELP, and in turn, the foundation sells the pieces to generate funding to give back into the programs that has been established. This project was created to help woman gain economic security by earning fair wages for their handiwork. 100% of the profits from the sales of the magazine bead jewelry benefits the direct services of HELP.
Tinsmithing
Students at Nanthomba Primary School developed a program to create water pails from tin, which they will sell to generate a profit for the school.
