Agricultural Adviser/Planner
Description:
HELP is looking for Agricultural Science students to assist us in designing low-cost, environmentally friendly agricultural schemes for our project in Malawi. Applicants should have or be pursuing a degree in Agricultural Sciences or a related field.
Our focus of sustainable education depends on income generating business run at the school by school employees and students. The income is reinvested into the school, thus sustaining its programs and assuring its longevity. Students and teachers learn valuable vocational skills as part of their education while helping to raise funds.
Current projects needing assistance from interns include:
- Mushroom Production
- Maize/Soya/Sesame Crop Fields
- Egg Production
- Fish Pond
Interns will work remotely or from our Cleveland office to advise technicians in Malawi on best practices and scheme design. Interns should expect to work one day a week for a negotiated duration. Internship is for school credit.
